I can't help that darkness consumes me
It's a feeling I feel most of the time
My world is a cold unforgiving place
Last in a one man race
Never ending headaches
A car going 100 miles per hour with no breaks
I can't remember what life was like before the darkness came
Where are my timeouts in this unfair game?
When does my season end?
So the new one can begin

Hola Bammita! Felize Memorial Day to you! I stopped into work briefly for a personal project and lo and behold I discover your new spot. I really like what you've done with the place.
Beautiful words, my friend. I love the way you express yourself and I love that you have such a sense of introspection. It will serve you greatly if you allow it. Thank you for sharing!

^^^When I first read that line I thought that you misspelled brakes, but then I re-read it and you get a completely different, but completely relevant meaning with either spelling. I don't know if it was intentional but great work nonetheless!

Bammy, I love your poems. You got it, girl!
I've always wished that I could write poetry, but that talent passed me by.
Looking forward to more of your work.
Happy Memorial Day! (Er...do people say that?)
