Which led me to choose the path I needed
There is a saying that says
"You only need people in your life that need you in theirs"

I can't believe at the time I was so blind
That I couldn't see through your lies
I made a bad choice, I choose my heart over my mind
A choice I know now that was completely asinine
Looking back at this "thing" we called a relationship
I can't believe I was that dimwitted
But life comes down to the choices we make and our mistakes
Now you want to U-turn back down the road we were on
But you still can't see that you were wrong
And I am glad
You chose the path you wanted
That forced me to choose the path I needed
